Nearly 60 years after the men: Lacoste launches first underwear collection for women

The French fashion brand Lacoste has expanded its range of products to include women’s underwear. The line of underwear comprises four distinct collections with four different styles. But they all represent Lacoste’s brand’s image, Lacoste announced on Thursday.

It was in 1966 that the company created its first collection of underwear for men, but women waited a year before they could make Lacoste’s Crocodile bras and briefs as their own. The four released groups provide the perfect foundation to feel comfortable and experiment according to the brand.

The collection comprises the Heritage collection, which incorporates the house’s DNA codes for tennis into their underwear, and the Branding collection, which features subtle logo designs targeted towards younger customers. The group also includes the Essential collection, which provides underwire-free triangle bras and delicate designs, and the Signature collection, designed for young adults. Alongside lingerie, there are loungewear pieces to complete the collection.
